The PockeTalker is designed to support face-to-face conversations by reducing background noise and improving the clarity of the voice you are listening to.
In a quiet room, the PockeTalker can be placed on a table and has a range of roughly 4 to 5 feet. However, the louder the room, the closer the microphone will need to be to the person speaking. The 10 foot audio extension cable that comes with each PockeTalker kit allows you to place the microphone next to a TV or to pass it back and forth in the car, across a table, or around a small circle of family and friends. This strategy has the added benefit of ensuring that people speak one at a time.
The wireless PFM PRO kit lets you hear with all the benefits of the PockeTalker at distances of up to 150 feet.
